Job Description:

The Doyle Group is seeking a skilled Network Engineer with a strong Cisco background and vendor management experience. The ideal candidate will have inside-plant experience and a hands-on approach to managing Switches, Routers, and WiFi. Exposure to or experience with outside plant, including fiber, is a plus. This role will require the Network Engineer to be on-site 3 days per week and be on-call every other week.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, install, and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and WiFi equipment.
  • Troubleshoot network issues, perform routine maintenance, and manage upgrades for existing systems.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for network-related solutions, ensuring smooth vendor management.
  • Work with internal teams to monitor network performance, resolve issues, and improve network infrastructure.
  • Assist with inside plant projects, ensuring the network's physical infrastructure is sound.
  • Provide assistance and support for outside plant issues, particularly fiber.
  • Provide on-call support every other week for network-related incidents and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with Cisco network equipment (routers, switches, WiFi).
  • Experience with vendor management in a networking context.
  • Inside plant experience is required, with the ability to work hands-on with physical network infrastructure.
  • Outside plant experience, particularly with fiber, is a plus.
  • Must be willing to be on-site 3 days a week and participate in on-call rotations every other week.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in networking environments.

Salary $110,000-$130,000
