Business Analyst

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical abilities and a strong command of SQL, Excel, and Google Sheets. The Business Analyst will be instrumental in data analysis, visualization, and the creation of insightful documentation and presentations to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis & Management:

● Extract, manipulate, and analyze large data sets using SQL to generate actionable insights.

● Ensure data accuracy and integrity across various platforms and tools.

2. Advanced Spreadsheet Expertise:

● Develop and manage complex Excel and Google Sheets models to address business needs.

● Automate reports and dashboards to enhance efficiency and visibility.

3. Data Representation & Visualization:

● Create impactful visualizations to effectively communicate analytical findings.

● Use charts, graphs, and dashboards to present data-driven insights to stakeholders.

4. Documentation & Reporting:

● Prepare structured and detailed documentation summarizing analytical outcomes.

● Design professional presentations to convey insights and recommendations.

5. Collaboration & Strategy:

● Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver analytical support.

● Identify trends, opportunities, and risks to aid in strategic decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

● Proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries and optimizing performance.

● Advanced expertise in Excel and Google Sheets (scripts, advanced formulas).

● Strong knowledge of data visualization tools(e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent).

● Excellent documentation and presentation skills, with the ability to present data in a structured and visually compelling manner.

● Proven experience in data representation, story telling, and supporting decision-making processes.

● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.

● Experience handling large data sets in a fast-growing company or industry.

● Familiarity with tools like Google Data Studio or other BI tools is an advantage.
