Stealth-Mode Start-Up Client is seeking a few skilled Back-End Developers to build and maintain the core server-side architecture of a scalable and high-performance web and mobile platform. This role will focus on ensuring secure data flow, seamless API integrations, and system reliability while supporting advanced functionalities such as real-time transactions, streaming services, and user authentication systems.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience in building complex server-side applications, working with databases, and ensuring system resilience under high user loads.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust, scalable server-side architectures to support platform functionalities, ensuring high availability and low latency.
- Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs for seamless communication between the front-end, database, and third-party services.
- Design and optimize relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases for scalability and performance.
- Develop secure user authentication and authorization mechanisms, including age verification systems and multi-factor authentication.
- Collaborate with the Blockchain team to ensure secure and efficient integration of blockchain functionalities (e.g., stablecoin transactions).
- Support real-time streaming infrastructure for live video and audio events, ensuring synchronization and low latency.
- Implement robust data security and encryption protocols to protect user data and comply with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS).
- Develop and monitor system health dashboards, troubleshoot issues, and optimize back-end performance.
- Implement solutions for load balancing, caching, and disaster recovery to ensure platform resilience.
- Work closely with Front-End Developers, Product Managers, and DevOps Engineers to align technical delivery with business objectives.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in back-end development.
- Excellent command of the English Language in all forms.
- Previous start-up experience would be an advantage.
- Proficiency in back-end programming languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, Go) and frameworks (e.g., Express.js, Django, Flask).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases with experience in optimization and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful and GraphQL API design and integration.
- Familiarity with encryption protocols, data privacy frameworks, and OWASP security principles.
- Experience designing systems that handle high traffic and large datasets efficiently.
- Proficiency with Git-based workflows (e.g., GitHub, GitLab).
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure for cloud-based deployments.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills to troubleshoot complex server-side issues.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical challenges.
- A problem-solver who thrives in building complex systems from the ground up.
