This position reports to

Head of IS Infrastructure and Operations

Your role and responsibilities

In this newly created position, you will support our IT team from the planning to the provision of IT infrastructure services. You will be a consultant and contact person for questions on IT infrastructure issues in projects and operations. You can expect exciting insights into a global IT system in which you will continuously evaluate and get to know new technologies.

Your area of responsibility:

• Independent development and conception of IT infrastructure architectures
• Evaluating new technologies and manufacturers
• Advising specialist departments on IT infrastructure-related issues
• Contact person and interface to the infrastructure teams in projects
• Conceptual cooperation in projects as well as requirements description and specification
• Definition and description of IT infrastructure standards
• Evaluation and comparison of new technologies
• System responsibility (administration and installation) for selected IT infrastructure services
  
  
  

Qualifications For The Role

• Broad knowledge and market overview of current enterprise IT infrastructure technologies (network, server, storage, virtualization, cloud computing)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft server technologies, especially Active Directory
• Application and database architecture basics
• Affinity for new technologies
• Basic knowledge of projects and methods and ITIL an advantage
• Experience in setting up scalable, highly available and high-performance IT systems/architectures

In order to comply with legal regulations, we refer to the minimum salary of the collective agreement of the electrical and electronics industry of € 4 215,39 gross/month. There is a clear willingness to overpay, depending on qualifications and experience.
