Production and Process Development Manager

Your role and responsibilities

ABB Large Motors and Generators factory in Jüri, Estonia is looking for a Production Development Engineer to join the team. In this role, you will play a key part in improving production processes, supporting equipment maintenance, and ensuring smooth operations across our manufacturing systems.

Working model is: Onsite

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Support production equipment and solve any related issues
• Lead and contribute to process improvements and equipment upgrades
• Ensure proper documentation for equipment and processes is created and stored
• Help manage maintenance processes and step in to cover key tasks in the Electrical Field when needed
• Assess maintenance performance and take action if quality metrics are off-target
  
  
  

Qualifications For The Role

• Higher technical education (mechanical or electrical) or equivalent job experience in a electrical field
• Knowledge of industrial automation equipment, 6-sigma, and 5S
• Understanding of electrical devices and equipment (ability to work with electrical systems is a must)
• In an ideal case, a background or qualifications related to electrical engineering would be a plus
• Excellent written and spoken English and Estonian skills
• Good computer skills (e.g., MS Office, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar)
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multicultural team and focus on results
