Arcadia is a non-profit, international non-governmental organisation with a global presence, comprising 238 members from all seven continents. Founded and headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, Arcadia is dedicated to two core missions:

Our primary mission is to make university-level education accessible to everyone, irrespective of financial, social, geographical, or political barriers. We strive for academic excellence and aim to diminish the limitations to education, ensuring that high-quality education is available to all. Our secondary mission is to foster a global appreciation and support for art. By addressing contemporary global issues through art in our exhibitions, and highlighting significant art events worldwide, we aim to cultivate a deep-seated art consciousness. Our goal is to inspire a greater appreciation for art in the modern world.

At Arcadia, our academic team consists of over 70 international writers who contribute to Higher Education-level academic articles across a myriad of disciplines. Our commitment to sharing knowledge without any charges or subscriptions ensures that everyone, everywhere, can benefit from our collective expertise. Who We Are Recruiting For Position?

We, as Arcadia, are seeking ten (10) dedicated researchers globally to join our Research Department. This role involves producing high-quality research articles on a bi-weekly basis (every 14 days), collaborating closely with academic editors and advisors. As a researcher, you will contribute to two types of articles: an 8-article Research Series that deeply explores a topic aligned with your academic background, and Standard Research Articles on chosen topics relevant to your expertise, submitting a total of two articles per month. Ideal candidates will have a robust academic background, a strong interest in academic publications, and a passion for research and writing. This position demands autonomy, excellent organisational skills to meet deadlines, and effective collaboration within a team.

Candidates who do not possess PhD will be considered for associate researcher option.



Requirements


  • Candidates must be enrolled in or have completed a PhD programme, with the capacity to provide an official transcript of their academic qualifications and courses in English.


  • Demonstrated ability to conduct and integrate interdisciplinary research, with a portfolio showcasing cross-disciplinary projects and publications.


  • Strong knowledge of academic language and writing styles, specifically APA.


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.


  • Candidates must be able to dedicate 8 to 10 hours per week to their articles to meet bi-weekly deadlines. Additionally, they must have reliable internet access and the necessary technological devices to fulfil their role effectively.


  • Proven experience in academic publication through academia or work experience.


  • Ability to engage with and integrate knowledge from multiple academic disciplines.


  • Strong adherence to ethical guidelines and best practices in research, with experience in navigating and upholding academic integrity standards in complex research environments.


  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a diverse, international team.


  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet bi-weekly deadlines.


  • Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards in research and publication practices.
