About The Job

We are seeking a Design Intern who is eager to explore and improve how humans interact with robots. As part of our team, you will work on projects that enhance the usability of our product, as well as effectively communicate its value to potential customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • User Experience Design:
  • Enhance the user experience of front-end applications for our autonomous excavators
  • Collaborate with industrial designers to rapidly prototype ideas and concepts
  • Technical Documentation:
  • Create detailed designs and layouts for technical manuals, ensuring they are clear, visually appealing, and user-friendly for end-users
  • Promotional Content Development:
  • Develop creative and technical promotional content to effectively present our products to potential customers
  • Combine design aesthetics with technical insights to highlight product features and benefits


Qualifications

  • A student or recent graduate in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, UX/UI Design, or a related field
  • A portfolio showcasing diverse design skills, such as UI design
  • Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar platforms
  • Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts into clear, engaging visuals
  • An ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineers and designers
  • A passion for technology and creating user-centered designs


Preferred Skills (Not Required)

  • Experience with 3D modeling tools (e.g., Blender, Rhino, SolidWorks)
  • Familiarity with technical writing and illustration for manuals
  • Knowledge of marketing or branding principles
