System Engineer

We are looking for a System Engineer with Back up storage experience:

• Contract: 6 months renewable (3 years+ project)
• Type: Freelance/external
• Location: Luxembourg - Hybrid
• Start date: 1st of november (Could be earlier for the right person)

The Role

We are looking for an experienced engineer to play a pivotal role in our Luxembourg team

- you'll share knowledge, offer mentorship, and work closely with various systems support teams, production departments, and stakeholders to keep everything running smoothly.

Your main focus in this role will be to provide expert support and development for our globally distributed storage.

You’ll also be:

• Designing, developing, maintaining, and evolving our global storage

• Being the escalation point for storage operational issues

• Ensuring business continuity through resilience, automation, metrics, and data analysis

• Monitoring and adopting DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
