Head of Orchestrade

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Head of Orchestrade to lead the development, optimisation, and management of our Orchestrade platform. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for ensuring the platform's seamless operation, driving customisation to meet trading and operational requirements, and managing a high-performing team.

You will work closely with stakeholders across trading, operations, and technology to define and execute a strategic roadmap for Orchestrade. Your expertise will be key to ensuring the platform supports the firm’s cutting-edge trading strategies.

Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy:

• Define and implement the strategic direction for Orchestrade.
• Oversee all Orchestrade projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

System Management:

• Own the Orchestrade platform, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Manage trade data integrations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Customisation & Innovation:

• Drive bespoke customisation and feature development within Orchestrade.
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate pricing models and proprietary tools.

Team Leadership:

• Build, lead, and mentor a team of engineers and support specialists.
• Foster a collaborative culture focused on technical excellence.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Partner with trading, operations, and technology teams to align Orchestrade capabilities with business needs.

What We're Looking For:

• Extensive experience with Orchestrade, including system customisation, configuration, and optimisation.
• Strong technical skills in C# and SQL for building and managing integration solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of financial instruments, including bonds, swaps, options, and futures.
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage teams and oversee complex projects.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with senior stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Python scripting and financial messaging protocols such as FIX.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
