Senior Python Developer - Start Up FinTech

We have partnered with a Sydney-based AI start-up revolutionizing the blockchain and deep tech space by developing cutting-edge software with real-world applications.

The team operates at the forefront of innovation, leveraging Python, AWS, and blockchain technologies.

We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to lead the architecture and work closely with two mid-level engineers to deliver impactful solutions.

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you’ll be responsible for driving the technical direction of a high-impact product, architecting solutions that seamlessly integrate blockchain and AI capabilities. Working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable systems while mentoring and guiding a small, talented team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead architectural decisions and technical direction for the core product.
• Build and maintain full-stack solutions using Python, AWS, and blockchain frameworks.
• Develop secure and scalable APIs and real-time processing systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across product and engineering teams to align on goals and deliverables.
• Ensure code quality and best practices through reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Mentor and support mid-level engineers, fostering a high-performing team culture.
• Stay ahead of the curve with emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies.

Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of software development experience with a focus on Python and full-stack frameworks.
• Expertise in AWS Cloud Services (e.g., Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, EC2).
• Strong experience with blockchain technologies and real-world implementation.
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies, such as RESTful APIs.
• Proven ability to design scalable architectures in high-traffic environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex systems.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
