Product Manager

Our client is seeking a Product Manager / Senior Product Developer to lead the design and development of a new range of baby and toddler products.

This role involves managing the entire process—from market research and concept creation to production. We’re looking for someone with proven experience in product development in consumer goods.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the design, redesign, and development of baby and toddler products, with a focus on quality, safety, and innovation.
• Manage the end-to-end product development process, from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality benchmarks.
• Manage relationships with international manufacturing partners, particularly in Asia, including negotiations and commercial feasibility assessments.
• Oversee product testing, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards (e.g., ASTM, EN71).
• Serve as the company’s product expert, addressing internal and external product-related enquiries.
• Oversee packaging design and execution, incorporating sustainability, branding, and safety labelling considerations.
• Support the marketing team in product launches, messaging, and asset development to maximise sales potential.

Skills required:

• Proven experience in end to end product development, preferably in baby products or related consumer goods.
• Knowledge of materials such as silicone, stainless steel and bamboo.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and industry standards for baby and children’s products (e.g., ASTM, EN71).
• Excellent project management skills, capable of overseeing multiple product timelines simultaneously.
• Creativity and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a passion for innovation.
• Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams and with external partners.
• Experience working with international manufacturers and suppliers, particularly in Asia.
