We are looking for an Android Software Developer (Hybrid - Lisboa)🛡

Skills:

• +3 years of experience as an Android Developer;
• Kotlin (1.9x) with a focus on modern features;
• Android Studio as the primary development environment for building, testing, and debugging Android apps;
• MVVM Architecture and experience to enhance the maintainability and scalability of applications;
• JavaScript for integrating web content within applications using WebView;
• Preferably, experience with Java to work with existing APIs and facilitate backend integration;
• Best practices for data protection and security measures.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design Android applications using Kotlin, responsible for writing clean code;
• Apply the MVVM architecture to separate concerns and facilitate testability, creating view models that expose data to the UI and handle user interactions;
• Implementing Clean Architecture Principles, structuring the application into distinct layers (presentation, domain, and data) to ensure high cohesion and low coupling;
• Develop reusable UI components and modules that adhere to Android design principles;
• Implement security measures for data protection, secure storage practices, data encryption, and secure API communication, to safeguard user information;
• JavaScript for loading web content within WebView components;
• Work with existing Java APIs to enable backend communication;
• Engage with designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver a cohesive product that meets user needs and business objectives.
