Senior Data Scientist

About the Company: Our client in the Consulting space is looking for a Senior Data Science Consultant to join a long-term project with a key client in the Energy space. The client is London based and most of the team are UK based.

The role is fully remote and will be 6 months with a view for extension. Location is ideally Hungary, Portugal and Malta.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in customer data / analytics, ideally within the retail industry.
• Strong expertise in data analysis and statistical modelling.
• Significant experience and strength in data visualisation and storytelling – able to communicate complexity in a straightforward and visually engaging manner, creating a compelling narrative.
• Proficiency in analytical tools such as SQL, Python, R.
• Proficiency in data visualisation platforms (e.g. Tableau or PowerBI).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, confident verbally and in writing.
• Strong relationship management skills, able to build high quality relationships with a range of internal stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail, focused on accuracy and integrity of work.
• Strong problem-solving skills, able to synthesise data from multiple sources to create and test hypotheses, and to determine root cause.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in coaching and developing others.
