Lead Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced software engineer to take a leading role in the team in Oslo!

Based in a product company, you will be contributing towards creating software solutions for the health/medical industry to facilitate a more digitalised patient experience, improving the quality of care for patients, and allowing healthcare professionals to be more efficient

You’ll be working in a cross-functional team with modern technologies including Python, React, Typescript, PostgreSQL, Github, Docker and AWS

Your role can be varied/flexible, but can include:

• Developing new features, as well as maintaining existing services
• Oversee our technology stack and architecture
• Work closely with stakeholders across the business to discover new solutions and strategise
• Perform code reviews, ensuring best practice across the team and all documentation is up to date
• Contribute towards our DevOps and Agile environment
• Help us continue to grow our team by taking a role in defining needs and the recruitment processes

We're looking for to bring:

• 7+ years experience in backend or fullstack development
• At least 5 x years working in a Python environment
• Experience with frontend technologies such as TypeScript and React is beneficial
• Experience in a Cloud environment (preferably AWS, or a willingness to move from Azure/GCP to AWS)
• Have knowledge of tools like Docker and Github, and experience working in a DevOps environment
