Job Title: Sr Engineer

Location: Dubai (Candidate must be available in Philippine, GC, UAE)

  • 3~5 Years experience in diagnostic check, troubleshooting and maintenance of instrumentation and control in Power Plant Gas turbine (Siemens-V94.3, GE 9FA), Steam Turbine (ALSTOM, Toshiba), Boiler (HRSG) and MSF & RO Desalination plants.
  • Thorough understanding of control Loops, Field instruments and control Actuator, Calibration and Maintenance.
  • Knowledge and working experience on different control system such as DCS, PLC, Cyber Security, Fire Fighting System.
  • Practical experience in GE-Speedtronic Mark-VIe, Siemens T-3000, Toshiba DCS TOSMAP, ALSPA-320, Yokogawa Centum-VP, PLC SIMATIC-S5 / S7, Allen Bradley PLC, HIMA PLC, Fire Fighting and detection system Minimax / Kidde /Shield /Advance Control Equipment.
  • Self-motivated, ability to work under pressure, good supervisory and reporting capability, computer literate and should have experience of technical and business correspondence.
  • Awareness of personnel and equipment safety standard, Environmental protection standard and Quality management system.
  • Mech Degree in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 6-10 years’ experience in a large power station mechanical maintenance.
  • Deep knowledge of material science. Deep knowledge in the maintenance and design criteria of Steam Turbines and its auxiliaries, (main functions, main components, different designs key points and their advantages and disadvantages, operating principles) condensers, compressors, pumps, Emergency Diesel Generators, Black start diesel generators.
  • Knowledge of natural gas and DFO systems safety aspects.
  • Knowledge of different NDTs, Power plant safety hazards and aspects.
  • Knowledge in procurement, tender preparations, and vendor selections.
  • Knowledge in budget planning and utilization.
  • Deep knowledge in the use of Personal computers and basic software programs such as MSP, Power Point, word, excel and Knowledge in SAP program as user is a must.
  • Must have reporting skills. Ability to lead teams of mechanical maintenance employees.
