Data Architect

Position Summary

The Principal Data Architect will lead the transformation of our data architecture to support state-of-the-art analytics, guiding data engineers, and championing governance initiatives. Responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data frameworks, this role collaborates cross-functionally to align technical solutions with business objectives. Ideal candidates will blend technical expertise with strategic vision, having demonstrated success in architecting scalable solutions. Experience in real estate or related fields is preferred.

Experience

• Proven experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database design, preferably with a focus on Azure cloud services.
• In-depth knowledge of relational databases, data warehousing, and big data technologies, especially in the Azure ecosystem.
• Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL databases, and data manipulation languages, with a strong understanding of Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Lake Storage.
• Experience architecting and implementing cloud-based data solutions on Azure, including data integration, ETL processes, and real-time analytics.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, data security, and regulatory compliance in Azure environments, with experience implementing Azure security features such as Azure Active Directory, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Security Center.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated deployment of data solutions.
• Certifications related to Azure data services and architecture, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
