Principal / Staff Engineer, PHP - would you like the opportunity to work with a scaling fintech company based in the UK?

The Company

A market leading fintech with a global presence. With high-end offices in central London. You will be joining an established PHP team during an exciting period of growth across their PHP development function. They’re keen to see you 2 – 3 times a week, but can be flexible if needed.

The Role

• Leading the development team and interacting with stakeholders
• Developing and implementing a new cutting edge functionality to the platform
• Working closely with other team members on important technical challenges faced within a rapidly growing fintech business
• Working to improve scalability and performance
• Mentor developers and ensure the team are performing to the highest of levels

Requirements:

• Extensive PHP development experience
• Experience of leading and managing developers
• Strong knowledge of Symfony
• Knowledge of Docker
• MySQL / PostgreSQL
• Test driven development advocate
• Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
