Responsibilities
Partner Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with technology partners, vendors, and suppliers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and support.
- Negotiate contracts and manage service-level agreements to optimize the value of partnerships.
- Provide guidance and support to franchisees for implementing and integrating technology systems in compliance with corporate standards.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits to evaluate the effectiveness of technology solutions at franchisee locations.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies in the QSR industry and evaluate their impact on the business.
- Lead research and development efforts to test and implement innovative technology solutions that enhance customer experience and streamline operations.
- Establish a regional restaurant technology center of excellence to support stakeholders in navigating challenges and adopting best practices.
- Develop and manage regional and project-specific budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of technology-related projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Conduct performance evaluations and foster professional development initiatives for team members.
- Lead by example to create a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technology leadership roles, preferably in the QSR or a related industry, with a focus on international operations.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant technology systems, including POS, digital ordering platforms, payment systems, mobile apps, inventory management, middleware, ERP systems, and data analytics.
- Proven ability to manage technology partnerships and vendor negotiations effectively.
- Demonstrated success in working collaboratively with franchisees and diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional and international teams.
- Strong strategic thinking and hands-on problem-solving capabilities.
- Knowledge of data security and compliance standards in the restaurant industry.
- Proven expertise in project management, driving initiatives from concept to completion.
