Senior Project Manager (~2000万円)

Overview:

Our client is hiring for a Senior Project Manager to lead the construction project of a major pharmaceutical facility. You will work with the client ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget, coordinating and managing various contractors and outsourcing companies on the delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Manage large-scale construction projects for clients, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality delivery
• Oversee day-to-day field activities, managing information flow and tracking progress, quality, and safety issues
• Assist in handover planning, ensuring timely and quality completion of documentation
• Be an on-site leader, monitoring progress and reinforcing safe work practices
• Coordinate with client and consultant teams and contractors on all snagging activities, including scheduling and engagement
• Identify issues proactively, collaborating with the team for effective resolution
• Implement and monitor key project processes, partnering with the client for improvements and revisions
• Ensure adherence to project procedures, striving for consistency in practice
• Lead and attend critical meetings to track progress, problem-solve collaboratively, and communicate impacts to partners
• Review proposed variations and delays in project timelines

Requirements:

• Experience working on pharmaceutical facility construction projects preferred
• Experience managing mid-scale construction projects
• Degree or comparable experience in project management or a construction-related field
• Project management certifications welcomed
• Detail-oriented and quality-focused
• Communicate effectively in English and Japanese, both verbally and in writing
• Thrive in a collaborative and friendly team environment
