Network Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Network Engineer to play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the firm network infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless operation of the network, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance performance and security.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN).
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the security and integrity of the network infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance and proactively address issues to ensure optimal uptime.
• Implement and manage network security protocols and solutions.
• Collaborate with vendors to evaluate and implement new technologies.
• Provide technical support to end-users and resolve network-related issues.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to network configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend relevant updates.

What you need:

• Direct, hands-on experience with routing/switching, load balancing, SD-WAN.
• Experience with Cisco as the key vendor.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
• Experience with firewalls
• Prior experience in a Networking focused role.
