The team founded Antare in 2024 comprising product leads, engineering leads, and investors, who have worked together for over 15 years, building companies that have been acquired for $3.4B, $700M, $400M, $270M and $100M, so hopefully you can see that we have a genuine level of success under our belts. Today, we’re a small handful of employees with a mix of product design, finance, hardware and software engineering.

Role Overview

As a Junior Software Engineer, you will be amongst a small but steadily growing R&D team of the industry's finest, as product innovation is at its highest. You will need to be independently capable of building software solutions aligned to the product roadmap and future pivots, whilst seeking the mentorship of those around you to challenge your own learning.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implementation of scalable, high-performance software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features.
• Optimize code for performance, reliability, and maintainability.

What we’re looking for

A solid academic background, ideally from a leading University with top marks in either Computer Science or STEM subject demonstrating a passion for software development, coding and technology.

Circa 2 years of commercial experience in a software development role building cloud-driven products, from a backend POV but full stack is equally fine.

Familiarity with modern frameworks and languages (e.g., React, Vue, Golang, iOS, Android) is a plus, but not required.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
