Web Graphic Designer

From Workana, we are seeking a Web Graphic Designer for an initial Part-Time engagement with one of our US-based Web Design clients. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a boutique studio specializing in creating bespoke, purpose-driven websites for a diverse range of clients, from small businesses to large organizations.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have proven experience designing websites and digital products such as web apps, SaaS platforms, landing pages, and marketing websites. You will contribute to delivering modern, responsive, and visually stunning designs while understanding client needs and translating them into effective digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Design engaging and responsive websites with a focus on functionality and aesthetics
Work on digital product designs such as SaaS interfaces, web applications, and landing pages
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align designs with client goals and technical requirements
Create prototypes and mockups using tools like Figma
Apply component-based design principles to ensure scalable and consistent designs
Incorporate client feedback and iterate on designs to meet project goals
Conduct user testing and gather insights to improve user experience

Preferred Skills:

Experience in branding and creating cohesive visual identities
Familiarity with motion graphics or interactive web design elements
Previous experience working remotely with international teams

Requirements

Proven experience in website and digital product design (portfolio required)
Strong skills in responsive web design and understanding of modern design trends
Proficiency in Figma and other design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
Knowledge of frontend technologies and how they relate to design implementation
Solid grasp of UX principles, with the ability to create intuitive and user-centered designs
Excellent communication skills in English for client interactions and team collaboration
A proactive mindset, capable of bringing fresh ideas and solving design challenges independently
Ability to work during California time zone (PST) hours for effective collaboration
