UX Writer French

Nexeo is currently looking for a UX Writer (French) to join a major client in Belgium.

Mission Context:

We are seeking an experienced UX Writer (French) to help shape user-centric copy for our digital products. You will focus on creating clear, concise, and user-friendly microcopy (e.g., buttons, titles, error messages, instructions) to ensure seamless interaction between users and the products.

Function Description:

Your responsibilities as a UX Writer (French) will include:

• Writing and editing UI text, including microcopy, error messages, and user instructions, during all phases of the development cycle (ideation, refinement, and delivery).
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create copy that aligns with design and product goals.
• Iterating on and adjusting UX copy based on feedback from user testing.
• Ensuring accessibility and inclusivity in all UX copy.
• Rephrasing Dutch-written copy into French.
• Updating and maintaining the content database with your written copy.

You will work closely with other UX Writers to develop and maintain UX copy guidelines and standards to ensure consistency across products. Additionally, you will collaborate with designers, product experts, and developers to ensure the integration of copy into the final designs.

Language Requirements:

• Dutch: Good working level in French or Dutch.
• French: Native or fluent.
• English: Fluency is essential (both written and spoken).

Education:

• IT background is beneficial, but experience in UX writing is a must.

Travel:

• No travel required. This is a full-time role with 50% on-premise and 50% homeworking from Belgium.

Required Experience / Knowledge:

• At least 2-6 years of relevant experience in UX Writing or a similar role.

Technical Experience (Mandatory):

• Strong writing skills in French with proven experience in UX writing.
• Familiarity with UX & UI fundamentals and mobile-first principles.
• Experience collaborating with design teams and working with cross-functional teams.

Business Experience (Mandatory):

• Experience in banking, finance, or large multinational organizations is a plus.
