Chief/ Senior Embedded Hardware Engineer

We are looking for experienced Chief/ Senior Embedded Hardware Engineer to join Etteplan

This permanent position includes versatile tasks in Embedded hardware design - the role will be customized to your liking and skillset.

In your role, you are responsible

Electronics design and embedded hardware solutions for development tasks relating to different fields of technologies and sectors such as telecommunications, industry, automotive, IoT, medical as well as defense and security sector.

To succeed in this role:

• You already have several years of experience in electronics design.
• Relevant technical education (M.Sc./B.Sc. degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems or a similar applicable area.)
• You also like to perform practical hands-on work in a lab setting with electronic devices and circuit boards using debugging tools and measurement equipment.
• You have fluent written and spoken Finnish and English.
• Additionally, you have good analytical skills and be able to work in a team environment with a "smarter together" approach.
  
  

We require the applicant to have:

• Design of analog, digital and mixed-signal electronics
• Embedded Systems, HW/SW interfaces
• Digital interfaces and wireless protocols
• Hands-on testing and debugging
• Experience from at least one design tool like Mentor Expedition, PADS or Altium
  
  

We also appreciate:

• Embedded SW development (low-level C, C++, Yocto Linux)
• Battery powered and low-power electronics
• Power supply design
