Full-Stack Data Engineer

We’re powered by data: we use our unique analytics platform “Q” to scout and monitor over 2,5 million technology startups and growth companies globally.

We are now looking for a Full-Stack Data Engineer to join our analytics team. You are the lead developer of a cutting-edge data & AI platform that extends all the way to a custom web front-end. You’ll utilize a modern serverless cloud infrastructure with state-of-the-art DevOps practices and tools such as vector databases, LLMs, LLM agents, Langchain, and dbt.

What would you work on?

• Data platform: Building and maintaining a robust data platform, centered on BigQuery, dbt and various data integrations
• DevOps: Developing and maintaining a scalable and automated DevOps infrastructure for efficient platform management
• Generative AI: Working extensively with LLMs, including semantic search, vector databases, embeddings, and agent-based frameworks.
• Operational tooling: Develop integrated tools that seamlessly support our team’s day-to-day operations, ensuring our platform is a core part of the business.

What do we expect from you?

• Passion for technology, startups, and venture capital
• BSc, MSc or PhD in Computer Science, a STEM field or another quantitative discipline
• Advanced Python Skills for backend & data pipeline development
• Experience with the Modern Data Stack, including tools such as dbt, Pinecone and Langchain
• Experience in working with LLMs (e.g. chat models, embeddings, agents, and semantic search)
• Advanced SQL skills and experience of BigQuery or other scalable data warehouses
• Strong cloud architecture expertise for building scalable data applications
• Software development skills for creating custom solutions, writing clean and scalable code, and integrating APIs
• Full-stack mindset, with a solid understanding both backend data systems and frontend applications
• Self-driven working attitude and a transparent communication style
• Fluent communication skills in both spoken and written English
