Senior Back End Developer

Location: Hybrid in Riga

We are seeking an experienced Senior Back-End Developer with a strong background in e-commerce. Experience with Shopify is a plus, but we welcome candidates eager to learn and quickly adapt to this platform. In this role, you will develop and implement back-end solutions to support our online store, internal tools, and various automation processes. You will work on AI-driven solution development and integration while collaborating with teams such as Sales, Accounting, Warehouse, and Marketing to create efficient and sustainable technological solutions.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Leveraging your e-commerce expertise to integrate our online store with other systems;
• Streamlining and integrating data flows between our e-commerce platform and internal systems (ERP, CRM, Klaviyo, warehouse management, etc.);
• Developing APIs and middleware solutions to enable seamless communication and data alignment across multiple platforms;
• Participating in AI feature development, such as automated campaign content generation, data analytics tools, and more;
• Creating internal tools to optimize workflows in Accounting, Sales, and other departments, supporting data-driven decision-making and improving operational efficiency;
• Designing and implementing secure, scalable, and high-performance back-end solutions;
• Continuously enhancing data processing and system architecture to support growth and evolving business needs;
• Collaborating closely with full-stack developers, the digital department, and other stakeholders to deliver optimal solutions;
• Mentoring other developers and leading technical discussions that drive decision-making.

APPLY IF YOU HAVE:

• Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or BigCommerce;
• Willingness to quickly learn and adapt to the Shopify ecosystem (if no prior experience);
• Proficiency in one or more server-side programming frameworks (Node.js, Python, etc.) and RESTful API design;
• Strong skills in SQL and the ability to create efficient data schemas;
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with all stakeholders;
• Proficiency in English.
