Information about the position

We’re looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to help evolve and scale a Database infrastructure that consists of more than ~3200 fat servers in 4 data centers and multiple regions. As part of the Production Engineering team, you’ll work with us on a Storage infrastructure and related tooling. In this position, you’ll

• Engineer, enhance, and dynamically scale data storage solutions including Redis, Ceph, Memcached and etcd in an environment where conventional solutions fall short. We need your creativity to deploy Redis configurations managing terabytes of data and processing millions of requests per second, as well as Ceph object storage systems that manage petabytes of data across billions of objects.
• Innovate and automate the tools surrounding our storage infrastructure, ensuring our systems not only meet but exceed the requirements of handling vast amounts of data with optimum efficiency.
  
  

About You

• Solid programming experience, preferably in Go or Ruby
• Experience in our stack or similar technologies is a big plus
• Good knowledge of Linux operating systems
• A curious and responsible individual who wants to learn and master concepts and technologies we use

The salary range for this position is €4,975 - €6,725 gross per month.
