About the Role

As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will play a critical role in protecting our organization's digital infrastructure. Working closely with IT and business teams, you will design, implement, and monitor security measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.


Key Responsibilities

  • Threat Prevention and Detection: Identify vulnerabilities through risk assessments, penetration testing, and monitoring tools. Implement strategies to prevent unauthorized access and breaches.
  • Incident Response: Detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents promptly, ensuring minimal downtime and impact. Prepare detailed post-incident reports and suggest improvements.
  • Policy and Compliance: Develop and enforce security policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
  • Systems Hardening: Collaborate with development and operations teams to secure software and hardware environments, including cloud and on-premise systems.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies to maintain a robust security posture.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in cybersecurity roles, with expertise in areas such as network security, application security, or cloud security.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in security frameworks and tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls).
  • Knowledge of security protocols, encryption techniques, and authentication systems.
  • Experience with vulnerability management tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and securing cloud environments.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level); additional languages are a plus.
  • Certifications: Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are advantageous.
