Position Summary

This assignment can take between 3-6 months, we are flexible to adapt to your situation. You will work on an internship assignment within our Software Development team in an exciting stage because:

• You will be participating in all phases of the development process of our innovative products.
• Your responsibilities would encompass various aspects of web development and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• You will work closely with a team of experts in the fields of IT and business leadership.

What you’ll gain experience from:

• Participation in the full development life cycle, from design to deployment of React/Python-based web applications (AI included)
• Write effective, scalable server-side code
• Design and implement data storage solutions
• Optimize server responsiveness and stability
• Implement security and data protection solutions
• Develop and maintain APIs to support frontend integration
• Test, debug, and improve backend functionality of existing systems
• Assess and prioritize feature requests
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand business needs and provide technical solutions
• Utilize Python for data processing and system tasks, with proficiency in Django or Flask
• Participation in team meetings or discussions to understand project requirements and provide technical insights
• Keep up with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in both frontend and backend software development

What you’ll bring to the position

We’re ideally looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• Knowledge and experience as a Backend Developer in Python or other stacks
• A relevant academic background in IT, software engineering, or computer science
• Proficiency in one or more popular Python backend frameworks (such as Django or Flask)
• Knowledge of relational databases like MongoDB or other databases
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (such as React, TypeScript, and HTML5) to facilitate API development
• Knowledge and experience in the area of agile/scrum development processes and experience using GitHub
• Passion for/interest in furthering knowledge in the Software Development and/or Innovation domain
• Comfortable working both independently and in a team
• Good proficiency in English
