Network & DevOps Engineer (open to all levels)

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure availability and rapid issue resolution during exchange trading hours.
• Manage and monitor network and server infrastructure using advanced tools.
• Set up, configure, and maintain Linux-based servers and network devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network, server, and application-related issues.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Implement and manage configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Work with Layer 1 switches and ensure seamless data flow in critical systems.
• Maintain and optimize exchange-related databases and ensure high availability.

Requirements:

• Availability during trading hours with a proactive response to system issues.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
• Knowledge of Layer 1 switch configurations and maintenance.
• Experience with scripting languages, particularly Python and Bash.
• Proficiency in Linux server administration.
• Familiarity with server monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus).
• Hands-on experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of exchange data environments and database management systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Advanced certifications (e.g., CCNP, Linux+, or similar).
• Knowledge of financial exchange environments and related protocols.
