Your Role:

As a Data Engineering Team Lead, you will drive our data engineering initiatives and lead a team focused on building high-performance data systems enriched with artificial intelligence and machine learning. This multidisciplinary team consists of data analysts, data engineers, and artificial intelligence engineers.

You will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring alignment with best practices, industry standards, and established processes. Additionally, you will actively contribute to designing data warehouses, developing robust and efficient code from a data perspective, and optimizing data analytics queries for performance and scalability

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with at least 1 year of team management experience.
• Strong expertise in SQL, NoSQL, data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Extensive knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, and experience in scheduling and monitoring workflows using Airflow.
• Proficiency with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Experience with .NET Core and Python.
• Hands-on experience with deployment and provisioning automation tools and concepts, e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Continuous learner and team player
• Excellent communication skills, sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership,
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills,
• Strong collaboration skills, responsive to project needs and demands in a fast-changing environment,
• Knowledge of financial solutions and payments is a plus
