DevOps Engineer & System Integration Opportunity – Abu Dhabi

My client are an exciting Tech Business based in Abu Dhabi seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer with Linux sys admin background to join a high performing tech team. This role involves automation scripting, driving devops practices in a collaborative environment.

The role includes managing and and maintaining Linux servers in virtualized and physical environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability.

You will develop and implement automation scripts for server provisioning, deployment, and configuration management. Your role will involve troubleshooting server and network issues while conducting root cause analyses. This role will enforce security measures and ensure adherence to security policies and regulations & Collaborate with development teams to facilitate seamless application deployment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience: 5 years + as a Linux System Administrator.
• Shell scripting and Python programming.
• Expertise in Linux system administration, including package management, kernel tuning, and network configuration.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware and managing virtual machines.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
• Strong understanding of network design and Quality of Service (QoS) guarantees.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
