Senior Fullstack Engineer (Google Integration)

About the Team:

Smartly.io proudly houses Triange, responsible for a flagship part of Smartly's product offering, having an extensive impact on the company's ambitions for the future. Our customers rely on our Google CM360 and DV360 integration for video and display offerings, and your future team will be placed in the center of all of this effort.

We are agnostic about technology and always aim to choose the best tools for the job. Our tools are built using React with TypeScript. We manage a public API for other internal services that consume our creative templates. Our service runs on Node.js orchestrated by Kubernetes. We also integrate with some BI tools (Snowflake, Redash, Google) to analyze our creatives used across social advertising platforms. We use Webpack and GitHub Actions for our build and deployment pipeline.

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, You Will:

• Have end-to-end ownership of vertical slices of our platform
• Documenting our services and communicating our offerings to other teams within Smartly
• Defining, designing, and owning API contracts made for internal and external stakeholders
• Focus on well-designed and well-executed software, quality matters
• Be a core contributor to our Creative Engineering Group's ambitions and product offering
• Work with our stakeholders - be them UX, product, infrastructure, or our support function - to ensure we meet customers where they are
• Apply and enhance your soft skills by working closely with our customers and your peers
  
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in building robust, complex, and distributed web applications
• Experience in backend development using modern technologies. We use mostly React, NodeJS, and Typescript, but we are open to hearing more about technologies used by you
• Ambition and eagerness to excel and commitment to continuous growth.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to effectively work with different stakeholders, ensuring smooth collaboration and project success.
• Motivation for solving customers' problems and delivering value to customers at a fast pace
• Ability and willingness to work from our Helsinki office for two/three days a week.
