Role Summary:
As a Technical / Principal Product Manager, you will bridge the gap between technical and business teams, managing product initiatives for fintech solutions that drive value and innovation. This role demands a deep understanding of fintech products and platforms, strong technical acumen, and exceptional stakeholder engagement skills. You will be responsible for defining product requirements, prioritizing features, and supporting the end-to-end development lifecycle in close coordination with the client’s cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Product Roadmap & Backlog Management: Collaborate with the client’s product and engineering teams to define and manage the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
- Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Capture, analyze, and document technical and functional requirements, converting them into clear and actionable user stories and technical specifications.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and end users, effectively translating technical information into business terms.
- Feature Prioritization: Lead prioritization discussions with the client, balancing customer impact, technical complexity, and business objectives.
- End-to-End Product Development: Oversee the product lifecycle from concept to deployment, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and alignment with the client’s product standards.
- Technical Oversight: Work closely with development teams to address technical challenges, making sure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with fintech industry best practices and regulations.
- Product Performance & Metrics: Monitor product performance and customer feedback, identify areas for improvement, and iterate on the product as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8+ years in a technical product management role.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of API integrations, data security protocols, cloud environments, and scalable architecture. Experience with fintech product development is highly preferred.
- Agile Methodology: Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable product insights. Familiarity with product analytics tools is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an aptitude for conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Client-Focused Mindset: Proven track record of working closely with clients to achieve shared goals, with a commitment to understanding and meeting client requirements and expectations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years in fintech, banking, payments, or a related regulated industry.
- Experience in regulated environments, including familiarity with compliance requirements in fintech.
- Certifications in Product Management (e.g., CSPO, SAFe PM/PO) or Agile methodologies.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and product analytics platforms.cs platforms.
