Junior Data Scientist

About the Role:

As a Junior Data Scientist, you will work closely with various departments (such as Operations, Product, and Tech) to help transform data into actionable insights. You will be involved in building and maintaining models for advanced analytics, contributing to the development of data-driven strategies, and supporting the identification of new opportunities to unlock value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with different teams to ensure data-driven decision-making processes.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, presenting complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
• Learn, develop, and share new data science skills and knowledge within the team.
• Support the delivery of key data science projects aligned with business goals.
• Develop, implement, and monitor predictive models to ensure they provide meaningful outcomes.
• Contribute to process improvements and the enhancement of in-house data tools.
• Apply machine learning and advanced analytics techniques to drive business success.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Some experience in a data science-related role is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Python and common data science libraries.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• An understanding of machine learning, statistics, and predictive modeling.
• Strong communication skills, especially in explaining technical data to non-technical audiences.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen interest in developing data science expertise.
