Senior C++ Engineer

In Argentina, we are actively seeking a professional to strengthen our client team.

The ideal candidate will have skills and interests in the development of software for embedded hardware systems. The job provides the opportunity to work closely as a contributing member of Professional Services project teams and may work directly with Customer supervisor(s) for task assignment and guidance. The ideal candidate will be self-driven with embedded software development skills.

This is you

• 5+ years in C/C++ with hands-on experience in embedded software;
• 2 years DO-178C experience;
• Familiarity with the following tools: RTOS (VxWorks preferred), CVE, CWE, Embedded Device Drivers, Multithreading/Concurrency, GitLab, Coverity, Polarion, Linux;
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle including agile development cycle, code, test, integration, debug/problem-solving, and peer reviews;
• Solid in decision-making, follow through on commitments, and independent in judgment;
• English — Upper-Intermediate or higher;
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent in a related subject area.

This is your role

• Update software components (RTOS, Boot Loader, IAF, RT Net, BSP) for DO-178C DAL A compliance;
• Evaluate the CWE identified by Coverity and develop mitigations for CVE;
• Design, implement, and maintain high-quality C++ code following best practices;
• Collaborate with project teams and customer supervisors for task assignments;
• Conduct validation and verification testing to ensure software reliability and compliance;
• Analyze technical issues and provide solutions to improve system performance and security;
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to colleagues.
