Senior Software Engineer - iOS

We’re looking for senior iOS Engineers to join our team in Hobart, Australia. You’ll join our product team and build and maintain next generation Procreate products and features.

We're interested in design-minded engineers who intuitively understand how to create seamless user interfaces and delightful digital interactions.

What you'll do

• Solve complex and unique technical problems
• Work with designers to turn prototypes into shippable product
• Create custom controls, aesthetically pleasing layouts and seamless animations
• Protect quality, ensure performance and show care for our users
• Deliver major features to millions of artists and designers
  
  

Required Skills

• A deep understanding of Swift
• An eye for design and attention to detail
• Experience with UIKit and iOS development
• Hands-on experience shipping high quality software with responsive, interactive UI
• Experience debugging, profiling and resolving performance problems
  
  

Bonus Skills

• Experience creating custom UIKit controls
• Experience developing with AppKit for macOS
• Experience creating creating powerful APIs and libraries
  
  

What to expect in the first 6-12 months

• Complete the Procreate onboarding process
• Familiarise yourself with our team structure and workflows
• Build an understanding of our product development practices
• Take ownership of your first initiatives
• Provide support to our existing products
