DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer - Freelance - Long Term - German Speaking

One of Next Ventures clients based in Germany are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their team to help them build their own private cloud.

This role will be a 6-12 month contract + extension as it is expected to be a 2-3 year programme.

This role is predominately remote, travel to different site locations in Germany is required for 2 days every 8 weeks and the client will cover expenses.

Skills required:

• 4+ years experience in DevOps
• German Language
• Strong background with either AWS or Azure
• Proficient in Terraform, Docker and Helm charts
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes is a must
• Bonus if you have experience with integrating databases like MongoDB

The Role:

• Development and operation of scalable cloud-native services on Kubernetes for use in a private cloud environment
• Creation and deployment of containers
• Technical consulting in cloud development projects
• Design and maintain automated deployment systems.
