Data Protection Consultant – Remote from Ireland

Our client is an international Data Protection and Privacy Consultancy who are expanding in a number of locations including Ireland.

They have engaged IT Search to speak to consultants with interest, education, and experience in the Data Privacy world to join their team on a fully remote basis (with occasional trips to Dublin).

The role itself is to work alongside colleagues and customers on various projects, from Data Auditing and recommendations, acting as de facto DPO, creating and executing data compliance strategies.

This position will suit a candidate who is looking to specialise in this area or expand existing Data Protection experience but importantly, someone who enjoys working in and learning about this ever-changing field.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial Data Protection/Privacy experience ideal
• Specific Certifications in Privacy
• Consultancy experience with a track record of working directly with customers and delivering project-based Governance or Compliance programs/strategies
• Exceptional communication and people skills
• Previous exposure to Cybersecurity issues, certifications welcome but not always necessary, PCI DSS experience would be advantageous
