Principal / R&D Engineer

Join us to support a leading MedTech company's advanced engineering team. You'll help create Prototypes and Proof of Concept/Proof of Value (PoC/PoV) to evaluate technologies and mitigate risks, contributing to the creation of the Target Architecture.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with enterprise, application, mobile, integration, connectivity, and cloud architects to develop Prototypes and POCs that align with stakeholder requirements and organizational goals
Lead the development of innovative Prototypes and POCs, ensuring they meet functional and non-functional requirements
Translate product backlog requirements into detailed architecture and design specifications that are scalable and robust
Continuously research and evaluate new technologies and methodologies to improve development processes

Requirements

10+ years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining back-end systems using .NET
Proficiency with Azure cloud platforms, Kubernetes (preferably AKS), and Docker containers
Knowledge of front-end technologies, including JavaScript/TypeScript, and libraries like React
Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ or ActiveMQ, and protocols like MQTT/AMQP
Experience with development tools and technologies, including GIT, build automation tools, testing frameworks, package managers, CI/CD pipelines, and REST-based APIs
Background in building GraphQL clients and servers (ideally with Apollo)
Excellent skills with DBMS technologies like SQLServer, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and caching mechanisms like Redis or Memcached
Basic knowledge of UI/UX and prototype design

Salary range €4.9K-€6.2K gross, based on your experience and interview results.
