DevOps Engineer

Are you a tech-savvy professional passionate about automation, innovation, and helping companies work more efficiently? We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team. You’ll play a key role in transitioning to a new way of working by leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automating support activities for applications and platforms used globally.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will:

• Support and enhance various applications and platforms by automating tasks related to software deployment and support.

• Plan and execute deployments and upgrades for applications used both in office settings and onboard vessels worldwide.

• Collaborate with end-users and stakeholders to optimize internal processes, ensuring IT best practices are followed.

• Maintain and develop automation scripts using Azure Pipelines, PowerShell, Terraform, and Ansible.

• Participate in IT-related projects, providing expertise on new technologies and processes.

• Keep up to date with the latest program developments and features.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, including installation manuals and scripts for Windows, web-based, and database-driven applications.

• Work closely with IT teams, stakeholders, and end-users to support and improve applications.

• Document and optimize internal processes and policies.

• Be part of the Technical Application Support team, collaborating with teams responsible for Enterprise Content Management, SQL, integrations, and quality assurance.

We’re looking for a candidate with:

• An HBO/BSc degree in Information Technology or a related field.

• Experience with application support.

• Knowledge of Azure Cloud, infrastructure fundamentals, software integrations, operating systems, and databases.

• Experience with Agile (Scrum) methodologies and tools like Azure DevOps.

• Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., TopDesk).

• A proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for automation and innovation.
