Frontend Developer

Location: Lisbon, Portugal - Hybrid (2 days per week)

An innovative and fast-growing international B2B SaaS start-up is building a new team in Lisbon and looking for two talented Front-End Developers to create engaging, user-friendly web and mobile applications.

The Role

You'll own the front-end development, turning UI/UX designs into interactive and visually appealing applications. Working closely with designers, back-end developers, and product managers, you'll ensure our software delivers a seamless user experience. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to scalable, maintainable, and high-quality front-end code.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly web and mobile applications.
• Translate UI/UX designs into functional and visually appealing interfaces.
• Develop reusable components and front-end libraries for scalability.
• Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create seamless user experiences.
• Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies and trends, integrating them as needed.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality standards and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and debug front-end issues across platforms and devices.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: 3-5 years as a Front-End Developer or Software Engineer with a strong portfolio of web/mobile applications.

Skills:

• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with back-end services.
• Experience with version control systems like Git or BitBucket.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with mobile frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter).
• Basic understanding of back-end development for effective collaboration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development tools.
• Fluent in English.

A background working within a Start Up/ Scale Up environment would be beneficial and/ or a clear and articulable desire to be looking to step up and grow in your next role.
