Description & Requirements

Who we are looking for

  • You master the GOLANG, NodeJs and Python, and you have a solid understanding of software architecture, microservices, and containerization;
  • You have worked with other languages (preferably Java/NodeJS/Kotlin/Scala) and understand functional programming;
  • Proven expertise in managing high-traffic, high-availability systems, particularly payment processing systems.
  • You are proactive; able to take on development tasks of any complexity and can support others in solving them;
  • Experience in working with senior stakeholders from customer organizations and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Agile ways of working: Autonomously work on and implement the team’s Deployment Pipeline; the set of technical and business assurance activities that support the transition of application and infrastructure services from development through to production;
  • Quality: Work in a multi-disciplinary I&E team and contribute to its management methodology, helping organize a diverse collection of technical activities into a coherent work stream.
  • You enforce standard coding practices amongst team members and actively review others’ code;
  • You are comfortable switching between multiple technologies from various areas of the development lifecycle: from GO/Python/Java/Kotlin/Scala and Spring, automated test frameworks, CI/CD configuration, infrastructure debugging to maybe some front-end minor tweaks;
  • You can set up and debug CI/CD pipelines;
  • You understand how Docker & Kubernetes work;
  • You can work with reactive systems and understand messaging queues;
  • You can work efficiently with SQL and NoSQL databases and can contribute to design decisions;
  • You have very good knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git/SVN.
  • You have good experience with at least one major cloud provider (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and container orchestration tools, and you are comfortable using the cloud while developing software;
  • Commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends and continuously improving your skills;
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or Salt;
  • Nice to have: Kubernetes administration skills;
  • Nice to have: Terraform hands-on experience.
