Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop end-to-end business intelligence framework for online products and SAAS solutions based on requirements that include recommending an appropriate architecture (on-premises/cloud), analytics, and reporting. Each day, you will evaluate business data to produce meaningful insights and metrics and to identify trends that could improve business performance. You will also showcase your expertise by designing new dashboards using best practices and intuitive visualization.

This role is contributing to the Electrification business Smart Power division in Bangalore, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Develop and maintain BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, and data visualizations, using tools such as MS Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, Grafana etc.
• Collaborate with Agile Team & stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications for BI solutions.
• Design and optimize data models and databases to support BI solutions, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement, presenting findings to stakeholders.
• Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance to ensure the integrity of BI solutions.
• Provide training and support to users on BI tools and solutions, ensuring effective utilization across the organization.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in the field of business intelligence.
• International travel on need basis.
  
  
  

Qualifications For The Role

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience 5+ years working in a Business Intelligence role or similar capacity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Proficiency in using BI tools such as MS Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, Grafana etc. with a strong understanding of data visualization principles.
• Expertise in SQL and database management systems (DBMS) like SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, etc. Experience in Snowflake is preferred.
• Exposure to Machine Learning and AI libraries (including Deep Learning, NLP) is preferred and Exposure with programming languages/ tools like Python, R, Alteryx etc. is preferred.
• Broad IT/SW/DS background and willingness to quickly acquire in-depth knowledge of new technologies and application domains.
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence both internally and externally.
