About the Role:

We are seeking a talented iOPS/DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in establishing a robust cloud environment for both existing and new assets. Your expertise will contribute to deploying and automating processes that enhance our development and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deployment Automation: Utilize tools like Jenkins and Digital AI for seamless deployment of Middleware, Database, and Web products using Terraform.
• DevOps Practices: Implement Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Continuous Testing, and Process Automation to streamline workflows.
• Programming: Leverage your expertise in Linux, Shell, and Python to optimize scripts and automation tasks.
• Infrastructure Management: Work with tools and components such as Kubernetes, Maven, Helmchart, Node.js, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
• Build & Deployment Automation: Implement solutions using Ansible and other automation tools.
• Release Orchestration: Manage application packages, runbooks, and release pipelines/workflows.
• Tooling Support: Enable tools that support Development, Testing, Quality, and Collaboration initiatives.
• Cloud Enablement: Assist in transitioning services to the cloud, ensuring a smooth migration process.

Requirements:

• Experience: 4-5 years of relevant experience, with a preference for candidates with 1-3 years in IBM Cloud.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, SVN, Git, and other relevant tools.

Good practical knowledge of the production environment, both in terms of hardware and software

Good technical knowledge of cloud, java, containers

Knowledge of architecture rules and standards.

Knowledge of development languages (depending on technical context) - useful for architecture challenging and technical support
