We are seeking an AI & Robotics engineer to join our Autonomy Team, where you will work alongside a multidisciplinary group of engineers and researchers. Your new role
As the AI & Robotic Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Lead software & hardware integration, ensuring seamless operation of robotic systems. Conduct comprehensive testing, from simulations to field trials, both locally and internationally.
- Drive the continuous improvement of AI & robotics development tools and methodologies to stay at the cutting edge of technology.
- Stay abreast of advancements in areas such robotics, networking, computer vision, cybersecurity, human-robot interaction, assured autonomy, robotics systems integration, swarm intelligence, and much more.
- Robotics-grounded tinkerers hailing from, but not limited to, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, EE/EEE, Mechatronics.
- Architect, develop, and test multi-robot exploration capabilities, including sensor data processing, simultaneous localisation and mapping (SLAM), and autonomous path planning.
- Machine Learning & Robotics Integration, implement and optimise machine learning models and robotics software on unmanned vehicle platforms, primarily using C++, CUDA, or Rust (Python as an additional option).
What you need
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in robotics development, including both software and hardware integration.
- Familiarity with ROS/ROS2, robotics simulation, version control (Git), and Docker,
- Rust, Git, C++, Docker, Python, Cuda
- Resourceful and unyielding self-starters who thrive in an ambiguous environment, with passion for taking ideas from concept to fruition.
