Position Summary
PrePass, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Front-end React Engineer, you’ll be responsible for building and enhancing user-facing features for our web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, performant, and responsive web applications. You’ll bring your experience in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and frontend development best practices to help us create engaging, accessible, and user-centered applications.

Position Summary
PrePass, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Front-end React Engineer, you’ll be responsible for building and enhancing user-facing features for our web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, performant, and responsive web applications. You’ll bring your experience in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and frontend development best practices to help us create engaging, accessible, and user-centered applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Maintain: Design and build responsive, high-quality React components and web pages to support dynamic user interactions.
- Collaborate: Work closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver seamless and user-focused web applications.
- Code Quality: Write clean, modular, and well-documented code that aligns with industry and company standards.
- Optimize Performance: Implement and maintain frontend performance best practices to ensure fast load times and smooth experiences on various devices and browsers.
- Test and Debug: Write unit and integration tests (using frameworks like Jest or React Testing Library), and participate in code reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
- Stay Current: Keep up with the latest frontend technologies and industry trends, bringing new ideas and insights to the team.
- Documentation: Contribute to technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and smooth onboarding for new team members.
Required
- 3-5 years of experience in frontend development with a strong focus on React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, MobX, or Recoil.
- Solid understanding of component-based architecture and React Hooks.
- Familiarity with build tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.) and package managers (NPM, Yarn).
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks, such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
- Exposure to CI/CD workflows and version control using Git.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience with Next.js or server-side rendering (SSR).
- Familiarity with design systems and UI libraries (e.g., Figma).
- Basic knowledge of backend development (Node.js, Express, etc.) or working with serverless environments (e.g..Azure Functions).
- Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) and performance optimization tools (e.g., Lighthouse, WebPageTest).
