Software Engineer

Compass Reg supports leading agriculture companies to simplify their regulatory work, helping them bring new products to the farmers who need them. We tackle regulatory challenges in a unique way, leveraging a modern software platform that increases automation, security, and organization of regulatory work plus a team of deep regulatory experts who support our customers in navigating the complex, evolving regulatory landscape. We then make that critical data available to product users across the industry, from retailers to farm technology providers.

We are seeking a talented and ambitious full-stack engineer to join our growing technical team (currently three engineers).

In this role you will:

• Collaborate with the founding team to design and build software across the stack
• Contribute your great sense of design by translating mockups into user experiences that delight
• Work with the Head of Engineering and Data Science to shape product and development roadmaps to balance technical debt and feature delivery
• Share in building a technical community that promotes curiosity and innovation
  
  

What You Bring

• 3+ years of relevant experience as a Full-stack engineer with major contributions to front-end features
• Experience with technologies we’re using: Python & Django, Postgres, HTMX, Alpine.js, and TailwindCSS
• Proficiency with devops infrastructure and tooling: AWS, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and logging and monitoring tools
• A solid understanding of the full web development life cycle

Compensation Range: $130K - $210K
