Role Overview

We’re seeking a talented individual with expertise in machine learning to join our team. In this role, you will design and refine models that predict energy market behavior and contribute to the optimization of energy systems. Responsibilities

  • Build and enhance predictive models for energy markets using machine learning techniques.
  • Establish processes for evaluating model performance and refining methodologies.
  • Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights to improve operational strategies.
  • Work collaboratively to integrate models into existing platforms and develop new applications.
  • Present findings to internal teams and external stakeholders with clear documentation and data visualizations.
  • Explore innovative approaches to solving problems in energy optimization and forecasting.


Requirements

  • A degree in a quantitative field such as engineering, computer science, or mathematics, plus relevant industry experience.
  • Deep understanding of machine learning concepts, including time-series analysis and model tuning.
  • Proficient in Python programming and skilled in frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Familiarity with experimental design and statistical methods.
  • Experience working with cloud-based platforms and data infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a self-motivated work ethic.


Preferred Skills

  • Previous exposure to energy-related projects or market analysis.
  • Background in software engineering, particularly in building scalable systems and APIs.
