Roles & Responsibilities

As a cybersecurity intern, you will have the opportunity to:

• Apply OWASP methodologies to secure real-world projects.
• Build and maintain secure systems with a focus on vulnerability assessment and threat reconnaissance to safeguard digital infrastructure.
• Utilize and analyze practical exploits, assessing their impact on systems.
• Conduct risk assessments and threat modeling for web application architecture.
• Develop a comprehensive vulnerability management strategy.
• Leverage open-source intelligence for passive reconnaissance.
• Execute footprinting and reconnaissance techniques as part of the pre-attack ethical hacking process.
• Master advanced scanning techniques using tools like NMAP and NPING for stealth network scanning beyond firewalls.
• Understand the vulnerabilities in web applications and servers, learning strategies to prevent and mitigate attacks.

Projects You Will Work On

1. Security Pipelines: Develop CI/CD pipelines for automated security testing in diverse web applications.
2. Risk Assessment: Engage in threat modeling and risk assessments, simulating and preventing real-world threats.
